Cordoba is the project of 2 friends, Souheil and Sami, who want to give a fresh and modern twist to Moroccan crafts. As a reference to the Spanish city, symbol of the Arab Golden Age, the spirit of the brand is to revive a time where the Arab world was synonym with forward-thinking and modernity.

I was commisionned to design a set of textile illustration to be embroded, or silk screened on tee-shirts and hoodies. Based on the famous Moroccan symbols and unfamous "cliché", those drawings take their inspiration in the cartoon, and graffiti approach, with  stylistic ligns and sense of humor. The misappropriated objects and animals, aims to spread the now a day Maroccan culture, and lifestyle. The colours and skin are tooken from the Moroccan flag, and convey the country identity. 

Because the Moroccan youth evolve, so does the Moroccan image and apparel.
